Bookkeeper & Payroll Specialist
- $20•27/hr•8am-5pm Start Your Next Career Today Looking for a stable Monday-Friday accounting opportunity where you can put your bookkeeping skills to work?
- 27/hr based on experience. If you have previous bookkeeping or accounting experience, including payroll processing, and are ready to take ownership of a variety of accounting responsibilities, we'd love to hear from you. Pay & Schedule $20
- 27/hr, based on experience Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Full-time, long-term opportunity Consistent daytime schedule What You'll Be Doing Handle all aspects of Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, matching purchase orders with invoices, and preparing checks for signature Ensure accounts payable transactions are accurate and completed in a timely manner Prepare bank deposit slips and accurately post transactions Complete monthly bank reconciliations Prepare and submit monthly sales and use tax filings Compile and review payroll timesheets for accuracy Process payroll and ensure payroll information is accurate Reconcile credit card transactions and expense reports Review Accounts Receivable on a monthly basis and follow up on overdue accounts Maintain accurate accounting and financial records Communicate with internal contacts and customers as needed regarding accounting and payment information What We're Looking For Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience is required Previous payroll processing experience is required Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting is helpful but not required Excellent computer skills, including strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adapt to changing work demands and follow through with minimal direction Experience in administrative or customer service work is a plus Why You'll Love This Job Competitive pay of $20•27/hr based on experience Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm schedule Full-time, long-term opportunity Use your bookkeeping, accounting, and payroll experience in a professional office environment Enjoy a varied role with meaningful responsibility and independence
