Our client, a well-established organization in the Dodgeville area, is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team immediately. This is a great opportunity to work alongside an experienced Payroll Manager and tenured payroll team member while supporting payroll operations for approximately 5,000 employees across nearly all 50 states. What You'll Do Process high-volume, multi-state payroll Research and respond to payroll tax and IRS notices Manage garnishments and employee payroll deductions Complete payroll tax balancing and reconciliations Maintain employee payroll records and system setups Support payroll compliance across multiple states, including California and New York Assist with payroll audits and reporting as needed Utilize UKG for payroll and time & attendance processing Qualifications Experience processing payroll for large employee populations Strong multi-state payroll experience Knowledge of payroll taxes, tax balancing, and reconciliations Experience handling garnishments and IRS notices Proficiency with payroll systems; UKG experience strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
