PAYROLL SPECIALIST CFS

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PAYROLL SPECIALIST
Process payroll accurately and timely for employees Review and verify timecards, payroll changes, deductions, and adjustments Maintain accurate employee payroll records and ensure proper documentation Process new hires, terminations, pay changes, direct deposits, and tax withholding updates Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll questions Process garnishments, deductions, and other payroll-related transactions Partner with Human Resources and Accounting to ensure accurate payroll information Assist with payroll reporting, audits, and process improvements as needed
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE PAYROLL SPECIALIST
2+ years of payroll experience preferred Strong understanding of payroll processes, deductions, taxes, and wage and hour requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred; relevant payroll experience will be considered
Compensation:
$65,000 – $75,000 Base Salary depending on experience #
