Offering 24/7 service we are committed to serving both individual and commercial clients with efficiency and integrity. Position Summary All City Towing is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage and process payroll operations for a fast-paced towing and transportation company. This position is responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with company policies, wage laws, and payroll procedures. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to manage confidential information, comfortable working with multiple departments, and capable of handling payroll issues with professionalism and urgency. Key Responsibilities Process weekly payroll accurately and on schedule Review employee time records, hours worked, overtime, PTO, and payroll adjustments Verify payroll data from timekeeping and scheduling systems Handle garnishments, deductions, benefits, and direct deposit updates Respond to employee payroll questions in a professional and timely manner Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations Prepare payroll-related reports for management as needed Coordinate with HR regarding employee status changes, leaves, and terminations Assist with year-end payroll processing including W-2 preparation and audits Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information Support payroll audits and internal recordkeeping procedures Qualifications Minimum of 2+ years of payroll experience required Familiarity with Wisconsin payroll regulations Experience with HR/payroll systems such as QuickBooks Payroll, Zoho People, or similar platforms Experience with payroll software and timekeeping systems Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage confidential information professionally Strong organizational and time-management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Experience in transportation, towing, logistics, or multi-location operations is a plus Work Environment Fast-paced operations environment On site-casual work environment Payroll has a private office Frequent interaction with employees and management teams Requires discretion, and strong customer-service skills
