Position Title:
Payroll Specialist•
Contract Wage:
Up to $33.50/hour Our client in Sturtevant, WI is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist for an approximately 3-6 month contract assignment with potential to be hired on. This role requires a payroll professional who can hit the ground running with minimal training and confidently manage multi-state payroll processing. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys contract flexibility with the possibility of long-term stability. Work hours are around the business hours of 7am to 5pm M-F and payrate is up to $33.50/hr.
Payroll Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Process weekly payroll for approximately 150 hourly employees
  • Process semi-monthly payroll for salaried employees
  • Manage multi-state payroll compliance, including remote sales employees
  • Ensure accurate tax withholdings, deductions, and benefit processing
  • Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations Qualifications for
Payroll Specialist:
  • Payroll processing experience using Paycor
  • Proven experience processing multi-state payroll is preferred
  • Strong understanding of payroll compliance and tax regulations
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment IND345
