Exempt Position Overview The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, maintains employee payroll records, processes payroll-related transactions, and provides exceptional customer service to employees and managers regarding payroll matters. The Payroll Coordinator works closely with Human Resources, Finance, and department managers to ensure payroll data is accurate and up to date. Job Duties Process timecards through ADP Workforce Manager for appropriate people, import Time & Attendance data into ADP for processing. Prepare payroll on a bi-weekly basis and send accurate and timely information to ADP Lyric to be processed. Maintain payroll reports and files. Respond quickly and professionally to employee and management requests for information. Process deductions/additional earnings through ADP Lyric when needed. Process historical corrections in ADP Workforce Manager when needed. Distribute W2s to employees on a timely basis. Produce and distribute W2C's as necessary. Maintain payroll reports and backup. Track PTO and Sick records and usage and maintain correct accrual balances. Distribute PTO and Sick balances to managers bi-weekly. Work closely with Human Resources regarding employee payroll and benefits management. Enter employee reimbursements into Sage Intacct. Assist employees with questions regarding their paychecks. Assist managers with the functions of ADP Lyric and Workforce Manager. Other duties as assigned. - Employees are held accountable for all duties of this job— Are you the right fit? Professional, polite manner in handling confidential/personal matters with all types of personnel. Accurate math and accounting skills. Knowledge of payroll and payroll tax filing information. Ability to successfully adhere to deadlines and work under pressure for short periods of time. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, and specialized accounting software used by the organization (e.g., Prophix, RTP, Great Plains, etc.) High school degree required 2 years payroll or other accounting experience required Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred.
