Personal Banker

Description We are looking for an experienced Personal Banker to join our client's team on a contract basis in Cerritos, California. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service while assisting clients with their financial needs and transactions. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to banking regulations, and the ability to effectively recommend products and services that align with customer goals.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing financial needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Perform a variety of banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, wire transfers, and account openings.
• Maintain and balance a cash drawer while ensuring all transactions are accurate and secure.
• Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their financial goals and recommending appropriate products and services.
• Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly, ensuring satisfaction and compliance with banking policies.
• Monitor and manage customer accounts, including overseeing transaction accuracy and fraud prevention.
• Support branch visibility efforts by participating in sales and marketing activities to meet business objectives.
• Conduct follow-up calls to assess customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for portfolio growth.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state banking regulations, including anti-money laundering and customer due diligence requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and logs related to customer interactions and lead generation. Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in branch banking or a similar role.
• Proficiency in cash handling within high-volume environments.
• Strong knowledge of federal banking regulations and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with banking software applications and account management tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Highly organized with a strong ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
