Job Description
Position OverviewThe Banking Representative provides frontline client service and supports daily office operations by accurately processing transactions, maintaining cash controls, and promoting bank products and services. This role is essential in delivering a positive client experience and ensuring operational integrity. Banking Representatives operate within established procedures and receive guidance and support when addressing nonroutine or complex client needs.
Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesDeliver outstanding client service with a friendly, professional, and proactive attitude.
Accurately perform routine banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, payments, and basic account servicing.
Balance individual cash drawer daily and adhere to all cashhandling and dualcontrol procedures.
Verify client identity and ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.
Engage clients in supported conversations to identify basic needs and appropriately escalate opportunities or concerns.
Maintain working knowledge of banking products, services, systems, and operational procedures.
Escalate complex requests, exceptions, or issues to Banking Support Specialists or leadership.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold the Banks standards for professionalism, integrity, and risk awareness.
Participate in required training and development activities. Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.One year customer service experience or cash handling experience or a bachelors degreeAbility to accurately handle cash and follow established procedures.
