Universal Banker Department:
Retail Job Summary The Universal Banker is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by using in-depth knowledge of company products, understanding the customer's needs, and communicating effectively with the client and team members. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The individual with this position in our company will be expected, on a regular basis, to: Processes regular teller transactions for customers including accepting loan payments, cashing checks, verify currency, balancing cash drawer, night deposits, ATM balancing, as well as other related duties Provides a complete range of customer service including opening new accounts, explaining available bank products and services, and gathering customer information to process new and existing accounts. Responsible for providing comprehensive online, mobile, and electronic banking support to customers. Working accurately and efficiently with strong written and verbal skills to complete transactions within a reasonable period of time. Maintains knowledge of branch policies and procedures. Participates in activities for generating new business such as special events. Deliver clarity to customers through simplicity, guidance, and know-how. Interface with customers via telephone or in person. Adherence to all operational, regulatory and security requirements, directives and procedures while minimizing losses. Contributing to the achievement of the bank through individual and group efforts and by offering ideas for improving processes and exceeding customer expectations. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to speak concisely. Professional experience anticipating common customer concerns and analyzing current procedures and processes for available improvements. Experience in efficient personal organization and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to demonstrate in a professional manner, a sales-oriented and relationship building demeanor. Demonstrates the ability to interact confidently with clients and fellow teammates. Being detail oriented, ability to multi-task and work independently and in a team environment is essential. Able to plan, schedule, and organize professional schedule to achieve strategic goals within established time frames. Able to be flexible and supportive reacting swiftly to change and adjusting priorities. Computer proficiency. Education and Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 3 years of Teller experience required. Work Authorization and conditions Must be authorized to work in the United States. No security clearance needed. Candidate will need to pass a drug test, credit history check, and criminal background check. Prior convictions could be considered if the candidate can show that they are not relevant to performance in this role.
