Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure as needed. Ability to calculate figures and amounts and to apply math concepts. The ability to make sound decisions. This may include on the spot decisions regarding customer transactions; weighing customer satisfaction issues with the Bank's exposure to loss or fraud and the ability to think through and rationalize decisions. Responsibilities - Personal Banker II Provides remarkable customer service through all customer interactions, opening new accounts, problem resolution, telephone answering, safe deposit access and any other customer service needs. Provides operational service, including but not limited to the following: accepting deposits and loan payments, verifying cash and endorsements, cashing checks within limits and obtaining further authorization when necessary, issuing money orders, cashier's checks, wire transfers and placing check re-orders. Process any other over the counter and mail transactions as necessary. Uses all sales tools, including profiling customers' needs through know your customer and sales tools to ensure consistent and valued customer service. Must be able to work in a team environment with the ability to interact well, and in a positive manner, with co-workers and management. Actively participates in branch meetings and offer creative ideas. Assists in the review of daily reports. Responsible for referring sales opportunities to lending officers. Performs dual control when participating in branch responsibilities. Responsible for following proper policies and procedures when processing transactions to protect the bank from financial loss. Responsible for safeguarding all confidential bank and customer information, is properly stored in a secure area to ensure compliance with our policy on privacy of consumer financial information. Must be willing to work altered work schedules if needed to make sure bank has proper coverage. Performs teller duties as needed, while balancing consistently, monitoring cash items, prepare cash shipments, assist in the cash verification process and processing collection items. Maintains a balancing record that is in line with Teller Performance Standards Agreement; have the ability to find, correct outages and to enlist help as needed for more difficult errors. Reviews proof work before submitting through Branch Capture as needed. Completes annual compliance training including but not limited to BSA, CIP, Reg CC and CTR's. Stays abreast on all policies and procedure changes to ensure compliance with current guidelines. Must be willing to participate in at least one CRA related event per yea
