Private Banker Summary:
As a Private Banker , you are the main point of contact for a select group of affluent clients, delivering exclusive, high-touch concierge banking services for their personal and business needs. You will manage their complete banking relationship across the company, utilizing a proactive and disciplined approach to grow their balances. With at least five years of proven experience as a successful private banker, you will hit the ground running, seeking referrals and growing your internal and external network. You are well connected in this market, have passion for delivering a positive customer experience, are active in the community and social organizations, communicate with clients on a consultative level and make recommendations as their trusted advisor. You know clients want direct access to their accounts and information 24/7.
What You'll Do:
A Day in the Life - Your focus will be on exceeding client expectations, identifying and cross-selling consumer and business products that add value and deepen the banking relationship. You have expertise in deposit gathering, mortgage and strategic business lending, and asset management. You will develop and maintain internal and external centers of influence for referrals and develop and execute on your sales plan. Because you are a trusted advisor to your clients, you know and can explain the features and benefits of bank products and services. Your clients look to you for analysis of their situation - you prepare summaries and reports for review and consultation. Takes:
Ability to travel for early career training purposes Skills in: building relationships, listening, consulting, explaining, analyzing, communicating effectively (written and verbally across a diverse spectrum), maintaining confidentiality, making decisions, thinking critically, solving complex problems, reporting progress, and deescalating situations with team members or customers.
Ability to:
work branch hours - including weekends and some evenings, make successful presentations, research, accept responsibility, prioritize, organize and plan work, achieve goals, assess needs, use available resources and partnerships to solve problems, and work independently and with team members.
