This Long-term Contract to hire position is ideal for someone who enjoys delivering attentive service, handling account activity accurately, and guiding members through a range of banking solutions. The role combines front-line transaction support with account and lending assistance, helping create a positive and efficient member experience.

Responsibilities:

Process routine financial activities such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and other account-related transactions with a high level of accuracy. Open, maintain, and service consumer deposit accounts while ensuring documentation is complete and aligned with established procedures. Provide support for consumer lending products by assisting members with inquiries, applications, and follow-up service needs. Help members with mortgage, IRA, and business banking requests, engaging internal partners or leadership when specialized guidance is needed. Identify opportunities to introduce relevant credit union products and services that match member goals and financial situations. Deliver responsive service to both new and existing members by answering questions, resolving routine issues, and creating a welcoming branch experience. Balance daily transaction activity and contribute to smooth branch operations through careful recordkeeping and adherence to controls At least 1 year of experience in banking, credit union operations, retail financial services, or a similar customer-facing environment. Working knowledge of common branch transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payment processing. Ability to provide strong customer service while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Experience supporting retail sales or identifying service opportunities based on customer needs. Familiarity with deposit account servicing and general consumer banking products. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and comfort handling financial transactions. Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and specialized support teams.
