Core Responsibilities The Operations Associate supports essential back-office banking operations to help ensure transactions are processed accurately, on time, and in accordance with federal regulations, internal policies, and risk management standards. This entry-level, onsite role is based in Branson, MO. Key responsibilities include processing wire transfers; managing Regulation E dispute documentation and timelines; assisting with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)-related tasks; maintaining clear records and audit-ready documentation; supporting internal process improvements; and communicating status updates and exceptions to appropriate team members.
Required knowledge and skills include:
Customer service and retail banking product awareness, including deposit-related regulations Familiarity with teller operations, teller terminals, and general banking systems Working knowledge of federal and state banking regulations Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and comfort handling confidential information Clear written and verbal communication, organization, and problem-solving skills If you are ready to build a strong operations foundation in a professional banking environment, we welcome your application. A Typical Workday Your day is structured and deadline-driven, with time set aside to review incoming items, prioritize what is time-sensitive, and verify details before anything is released or finalized. You will move between focused processing time and brief check-ins to confirm information, document decisions, and escalate exceptions when needed. Throughout the day, you'll keep records current, follow established controls, and ensure files are complete and easy to track for compliance purposes. As operational needs shift, you may adjust your workflow to accommodate higher volumes, end-of-day cutoffs, or occasional evening/weekend activity tied to bank operations. You'll finish the day by reconciling open items and preparing a clear handoff so work remains accurate and on schedule.
