POSITION SUMMARY
Ensures efficient and accurate completion of assigned tasks by assisting in the management of, and actively participating in, the day-to-day activities assigned to the Deposit Operations department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provides direct client assistance with online banking, business online banking, wire transfers, ACH, remote deposit capture, debit card inquiries, and other cash management products, as well as general account assistance.
  • Accurately and efficiently processes and logs all incoming and outgoing wire transfer transactions to include OFAC screening.
  • Performs additional daily tasks, to include non-post items, returned deposited checks, ACH entries, debit card transactions, account maintenance, and bill payment transactions.
  • Completes a daily review of all Director reports, as assigned in the deposit operations, debit card, and online banking queries. Assists the Deposit Operations Manager to resolve any exceptions.
  • Creates new Business Online Banking client profiles in Access Manager and adds or maintains various cash management products and services as approved by the Director of Business Banking.
  • Monitors cash transactions, wire transfers, negotiable instruments, subpoenas (and similar requests), and electronic banking activity to identify unusual activity.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Bachelor's degree, or a minimum of two years of deposit operations experience to include online banking, business online banking, wire transfers, ACH, remote deposit capture, debit card inquiries.
  • Possesses working knowledge of financial services and intellectual curiosity to better understand how systems and processes work. Experience working in FiServ systems preferred.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Able to handle sensitive or confidential matters with discretion and privacy.
  • Excellent communication skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
The employee must be able to sit or stand for extended periods, operate a computer keyboard and mouse, reach at or below shoulder level, lift up to 25 lbs., and perform light pushing/pulling. Close vision is required for computer work. The work environment is moderately noisy and may require occasional standing or walking between workstations. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
