Job Description
Job Summary The Multi-Site Branch Banker plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and fostering a positive banking experience across multiple branch locations. This position is responsible for a variety of tasks related to customer needs, including sales, service, operations, and compliance, while demonstrating a strong understanding of the bank's products and services. The Multi-Site Branch Banker is a key driver of business development and growth, both within the branches and through community engagement. Responsibilities Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting clients warmly, understanding their financial needs, and offering appropriate banking solutions. Manage customer relationships through proactive engagement, upselling banking products such as savings accounts, loans, and credit cards to meet individual needs. Process a variety of banking transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, cash handling, and check processing using banking software and cash management systems. Assist customers with loan origination processes by collecting necessary documentation, explaining loan options, and guiding them through application procedures. Detect and prevent fraud by monitoring transactions for suspicious activity and adhering to financial compliance standards. Maintain detailed records of transactions, cash drawer handling, and customer interactions while ensuring adherence to banking regulatory compliance. Collaborate with team members across multiple branches to share best practices, support operational efficiency, and uphold high standards of service excellence. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Proven experience in a retail banking environment with strong customer service and sales skills (2+ years' experience preferred). High degree of diligence to ensure accuracy in processing transactions and cash handling. Ability to follow all branch related policies and procedures, especially those relating to the security and protection of confidential customer information and cash handling. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work collaboratively within a team setting. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. Ability to travel to various branch locations within the assigned market as needed. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and core operating systems. May be required to work extended hours and/or weekends based on branch needs.
