Job Description
The Card Services Processor supports the operational execution and day-to-day servicing of REV's Debit and Credit card programs. This position is responsible for ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and availability of member card services, while also supporting internal teams through research, reconciliation, and troubleshooting. The role requires strong attention to detail, follow-through, and effective communication. This role is accountable to complete all assigned compliance and information security training and comply with the credit union's policies and procedures related to the Bank Secrecy Act and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Assumes responsibility for the efficient and accurate processing of card services operations: Executes day-to-day tasks related to Debit and Credit card issuance, renewal, blocking, and general maintenance. Monitors and addresses card-related service issues including card declines, fraud alerts, and transactional errors. Researches and resolves card posting discrepancies, initiating correcting entries as needed. Reviews and processes real-time balance transfers via the eZBusiness platform. Supports cash order and ATM balancing processes, including processing ATM imaged check files and reconciling to general ledger accounts. Prepares and submits GL vouchers to Finance for appropriate fund movements. Assumes responsibility for internal support and communication: Responds to inquiries from Retail, Contact Center, and other internal departments via Keystone Opportunities, Teams, phone, and email. Provides guidance and clarification on card-related procedures and member-impacting scenarios. Coordinates with vendors for ATM issues, cash delivery disruptions, and service ticket follow-ups. Reviews daily card maintenance reports and communicates required actions to internal teams. Assumes responsibility for fraud monitoring and dispute readiness: Monitors Falcon alerts and identifies potential first-party fraud activity. Conducts preliminary review of cardholder disputes to ensure completeness prior to investigation. Maintains awareness of fraud trends and escalates unusual patterns appropriately. Assumes responsibility for operational accuracy and compliance: Balances card network transactions and investigates GL outages, ensuring resolution and reporting accuracy. Conducts research and remediation efforts for suspense or clearing account exceptions. Adheres to all departmental and regulatory policies, ensuring audit readiness and record accuracy. Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned: Participates in department projects and procedural updates. Identifies process improvements and contributes to ongoing departmental effectiveness. Provides backup support within the department as needed.
