Job Description

Job Summary:
Responsible for providing exceptional customer service to First US Bank customers while opening new consumer deposit accounts and efficiently handling various types of financial transactions. Performs additional duties as assigned. Primary Responsibilities /
Job Duties:
Establish a strong banking relationship with individual customers by building rapport and providing high quality personalized service. Maintain a thorough knowledge of all First US Bank offerings to effectively assist customers in their selection of products, services, and digital solutions that fit their financial needs. Actively demonstrate digital expertise by using First US Bank's digital platforms and educating clients about online banking, bill pay, mobile banking app, ATM/ITMs, and online chat features. Open personal deposit accounts, including checking, savings, money market, and certificate of deposit. Handle customer inquiries and account maintenance requests. Assist customers in accessing safe deposit boxes. Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, official checks, account transfers, loan payments, check and debit card orders, stop payments, and other types of requests. Perform daily branch operation tasks, including balancing cash drawer, vault, and ATM/ITMs, processing night deposits, ordering currency and coin shipments, completing currency transaction reports, scanning documentation, and other types of activities. Adhere to established policies and procedures; Maintain security and confidentiality of customer information; Demonstrate sound judgment within established limits. Participate in and complete all required compliance training, including BSA/AML, as well as other internal and external training programs. Participates in training new teammates as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Bachelor's degree preferred At least one year of previous Teller or Personal Banker experience required Strong mathematical skills; ability to accurately balance transactions Ability to operate bank software programs and standard office equipment; proficient typing skills Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail Effective communication skills, both written and oral Friendly and courteous demeanor; interpersonal skills necessary to professionally interact with customers and coworkers Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment Working Environment /
Physical Demands:
Work is performed in a professional office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. May require the ability to lift files, bend, reach, walk or maneuver around the bank. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
