JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sell products and services to new and existing customers and prospects, as well as make referrals to appropriate departments. Maintain accurate tracking of cross sales and sales referrals
- Adhere to all new account opening policies and procedures as stated in Branch Operations Manual to ensure accuracy of Account Titling, Customer Information Identification (CID), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and Identity Theft Red Flag Rules requirements as outlined in the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti Money Laundering policy.
- Adhere to customer and account maintenance policies and procedures as stated in the Branch Operations Manual
- Adhere to any and all other operational processes performed as listed in the Branch Operations Manual.
- Discuss personal financial needs with new and existing customers/prospects and recommend ways in which the company can serve their needs by cross-selling a full range of personal banking services.
- Handle all customer service requests timely and accurately
- Adhere at all times to applicable policies when resolving customer complaints while demonstrating a continuously helpful and friendly attitude.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area and ensure that all confidential records are properly secured at all times.
- Required to maintain an expert level of knowledge regarding bank products/services
- Responsible for knowing and implementing updates of Policies, Procedures and System changes
- Adhere to all security policies and procedures
- Follow bank guidelines before, during and after a robbery
- Ensure all actions performed are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE
- Position requires a high school diploma or GED plus such practical skills and knowledge as would be learned on the job.
- Over six and up to 12 months of experience.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent PC skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with working knowledge of all applicable computer software programs.
- Ability to lift coinage weighing up to 30 pounds.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Normal traditional bank lobby or In-Store lobby conditions.
- After six months of demonstrated ability to carry out prescribed assignments, there is minimal supervision.
