Duties Engage with clients to assess their financial situations and understand their debt challenges thoroughly Develop personalized debt resolution plans that align with clients' goals and financial capabilities Negotiate with creditors and collection agencies to secure manageable repayment terms or settlement agreements Educate clients on debt management strategies, including budgeting, credit counseling, and financial planning Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, negotiations, and resolutions in compliance with company policies Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless case management and timely resolution of client cases Provide ongoing support and follow-up to ensure clients adhere to agreed-upon repayment plans and achieve their financial objectives Experience Proven experience in debt resolution, credit counseling, or related financial services roles Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms for clients while maintaining professionalism Excellent communication skills—able to explain complex financial concepts clearly and empathetically Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing debt collection and resolution practices Ability to analyze financial documents quickly and accurately to determine appropriate resolution strategies Proficiency in using case management software and other digital tools for documentation and tracking purposes A proactive mindset with the energy to handle challenging situations positively and persistently
