6Months (Extension possible) Role Summary Senior PeopleSoft Finance Functional Consultant responsible for hands-on functional configuration and day-to-day production support in a Higher Education community college environment. This role focuses on operational stability, financial close support, and functional leadership for PUM upgrades and enhancements. This is a purely functional, onsite role. Job Description The consultant will provide daily functional production support and hands-on configuration across PeopleSoft Financials, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Supplier Contracts, Commitment Control, Travel & Expenses, and Asset Management. Responsibilities include supporting month-end and year-end close activities, reconciliation, audits, and ensuring compliance with public-sector financial controls. The role requires translating business needs into functional designs and specifications, maintaining configuration accuracy, leading functional impact analysis, and testing for PUM releases, and supporting ongoing operational needs in collaboration with business users and technical teams. Strong documentation and stakeholder engagement are required. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of PeopleSoft Finance functional experience, strong Higher Education exposure (California community college experience preferred), and the ability to work onsite in the Bay Area.
