Wealth Management Professional This person in this role will lead a well-established Financial Advisory practice in managing comprehensive financial planning, investments, and operations for High-Net-Worth clients. The candidate is expected to take on client facing role at an accelerated pace. Over time, the person in this position will learn the skills of a Financial planner, Insurance Specialist, and investments coordinator, and thus, be able to lead the Operations Team. Initially this is not a sales role but may grow into the role of a Financial Advisor. The candidate will possess a CFP or CFA or will soon begin the process of acquiring these certifications. The candidate will already possess or acquire at an accelerated pace industry licenses such as Series 7, Series 66, and the California Insurance license. We will sponsor the acquisition of these licenses and education. Experience as a financial Planner is a strong Plus. Having Series 7 designation is a Plus. Candidates should have a strong interest in personal financial topics such as investments, insurance, taxes, and estate planning to be able to help the team craft the best solutions for client needs.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Help Advisor prepare for client meetings by working on various solution scenarios.
- As needed, be able to conduct and/or participate in client meetings to present recommendations/deliver advice.
- Manage and resolve client service items for topics ranging across planning, insurance and investment operations.
- Review and interpret client's financial statements.
- Examine client data for accuracy and completeness, enter data into various financial analysis software.
- Analyze complex client financial situations and prepare financial planning recommendations for discussion with Advisor.
- Review work methods and procedures for possible quality improvements and efficiencies and implement them when appropriate.
Requirements:
College degree is a must - preferred in Finance or Math. Sharp Math skills are necessary. Strong Microsoft XL skills are required for the job. Strong oral and written English skills are a must. Candidate must be detail oriented. The role requires this team member to be task and calendar driven, as the role involves timely task management to client service deadlines. Since work involves interacting with High-Net-Worth clients, the candidate should have strong self-confidence and professional demeanor. Base salary will depend on skills and experience. May range about $80,000-$120,000/year plus benefits such as national holidays, paid time off, bonus, subsidized medical benefits, etc. Full time on site with some flexibility. Situated on The Alameda close to downtown San Jose. Please note that the candidate must be authorized to work in the USA on a permanent basis.
