Position Summary:
As a Financial Counselor I , you will play a vital role in helping patients and their families navigate the financial aspects of their care. This includes providing clear explanations of billing processes, assisting with insurance verification, and creating a welcoming, informed experience during what can often be a stressful time.
Qualifications:
Education/Training:
High School diploma or equivalent. Completion of Patient Financial Services Orientation program and required annual education.
Licensure/Certification:
None required.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in a financial, business office, or customer service environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong typing skills. At least 1 year of PC/Windows experience required.
