Job Description

Description The Student Assistants support the conceptual development for the Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) minor, joint AOC, and AOC and the administrative requirements outlined in the NCF handbook. The Student Assistants work closely with the supervisor, bringing a student perspective to the process and working on the required forms. The students will also aid in raising funds for a PPE speaker series at NCF, which will be integrated as a PPE Capstone course in the future. Additionally, the Student Assistants will contribute to the conceptualization of this spring's Introduction to PPE course. Examples of Duties Collaborative work on conceptual development Independent work on administrative forms and processes Regular meetings Minimum Qualifications Interest in and at least some coursework in Philosophy, Politics, or Economics Ability to work independently and stay engaged Good writing skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with administrative processes All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring immigration sponsorship, including but not limited to non-immigrant visas, such as H1B, STEM, or F1, now and in the future.
