New Season is seeking a Patient Registration Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you'll often be one of the first people our patients interact with and will play an important part in creating a welcoming, supportive experience while helping them navigate registration, insurance coverage, scheduling, and financial responsibilities. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a detail-oriented environment, and has experience working with insurance verification and authorizations in healthcare. What You'll Do Welcome, register, and schedule patients while providing a positive and compassionate experience. Verify insurance coverage, benefits, eligibility, and payer requirements. Help patients understand deductibles, copays, co-insurance, and other financial responsibilities. Process patient payments and maintain accurate financial information. Serve as a resource for patient questions related to benefits, authorizations, and financial responsibilities. Assist patients with grant applications, coverage checks, and grant-related documentation. Coordinate patient appointments and eligible transportation needs. Review reports and correct missing or inaccurate information to support clean claims and reduce payer denials. Work closely with patients, clinical teams, payers, and other internal partners to resolve issues. Protect patient information and maintain HIPAA compliance. What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED. Knowledge of insurance policies, CPT and ICD-10 codes, payer requirements, and authorization processes. Experience using electronic medical record systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Docs/Sheets. Healthcare experience involving customer service, insurance verification, and authorizations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with patients, payers, and clinical staff. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. Why New Season?
