Job Description

Position Overview The Financial Advisor is responsible for driving business development and revenue growth for the firm through proactive client acquisition, lead conversion, and relationship management. This role is highly sales-oriented and requires a motivated professional who can effectively engage prospective clients, convert qualified leads into long-term relationships, and contribute to the firm's overall growth strategy. The advisor will work with firm-provided leads as well as develop new opportunities through networking, referrals, and other lead generation activities. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales Actively contribute to the firm's growth by identifying and pursuing new client opportunities. Convert inbound and firm-generated leads into new client relationships through effective sales and consultative conversations. Conduct prospect meetings, discovery sessions, and presentations to communicate the firm's value proposition. Maintain a consistent pipeline of prospects and track sales activities within the firm's CRM system. Meet or exceed established new client acquisition and revenue targets. Lead Generation Participate in firm-sponsored marketing initiatives, seminars, workshops, and client events designed to generate new business. Develop additional referral sources through networking, centers of influence, and professional relationships. Follow up promptly and consistently with prospective clients to nurture and convert opportunities. Client Relationship Management Onboard new clients and ensure a smooth transition into the firm's advisory process. Maintain strong relationships with clients by delivering high-quality service and proactive communication. Identify opportunities to expand relationships through additional planning or advisory services. Collaboration Work closely with internal planning, operations, and client service teams to deliver a consistent client experience. Provide feedback to leadership regarding lead quality, sales trends, and business development opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or related field preferred. At least 3-5+ years experience in financial services, wealth management, insurance, or investment advisory sales preferred. Demonstrated success in a sales, relationship management, or client acquisition role. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline. CFP Designation preferred Series 7, 63, 65/66 and FL-215 Experience with Securities, Financial Planning, Investments and Insurance required Experience with Financial Planning software Key Competencies Sales and consultative selling skills Business development and networking Relationship building and client engagement Strong organizational and follow-up skills Professional integrity and client-first mindset
