Job Description

TandemGrowth Financial Advisors, LLC is an independent, fee-only financial planning firm founded in 2003 and located in Alpharetta, GA. We are seeking an experienced Wealth Advisor to serve as the primary relationship manager for a select group of clients while helping drive the continued growth of the firm. This role blends comprehensive financial planning, strong relationship management, and active business development. Job Responsibilities Planning and Relationship Management Serve as the lead advisor for a defined group of clients Develop a deep understanding of each client's financial and family situation using a "human first" approach Prepare, review, and present comprehensive, goals-based financial plans Prepare for and conduct periodic review meetings with clients Manage existing client relationships and respond thoughtfully to planning inquiries and service requests Work closely with other TandemGrowth Wealth Advisors in preparing for and conducting client consultations Coordinate proactively with client's attorneys, accountant, and other professionals on estate, tax, risk management, and planning matters Partner with clients to explore tradeoffs and discuss decisions around retirement, cash flow, taxes, debt, philanthropic goals, education planning, insurance, estate planning, and investments Present and discuss the TandemGrowth investment philosophy and explain investment results in a way clients can easily understand Establish each client's need, ability, and tolerance for risk and develop appropriate asset allocation and cash flow strategies Address client investment concerns within the context of a goals-based financial planning framework Become proficient in all technology tools used in the firm's wealth management process Firm Development Be an active participant in growing and improving the firm Work to grow client relationships and firm assets under management Develop leads and referrals from current clients, centers of influence, and community involvement Conduct introductory calls and meetings with prospective clients Conduct discovery meetings with new clients Develop relationships with and serve clients' adult children through the firm's "Next Gen" service model Requirements Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university Minimum of 5 years of experience as a financial advisor with demonstrated ability to develop and manage client relationships and generate new business opportunities CFP® designation required Ability to successfully pass criminal background and credit check required Familiarity with MoneyGuidePro, Orion, FP Alpha, Hidden Levers, and YCharts is a plus Required Skills and Experience Deep understanding of comprehensive financial planning principles Strong written and verbal communication skills Confident and effective in leading client presentations and conversations Able to accurately enter both qualitative and quantitative data into planning software and understand the assumptions behind the analysis Self-motivated with strong initiative and a high level of personal accountability Strong listening skills and the ability to think critically through complex situations Committed to putting clients first, maintaining professionalism, and upholding fiduciary standards Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently while meeting deadlines
