Job Description

We are searching for a Lawn Care Specialist to join our team. The responsibilities for this position include maintaining the client's yards, mowing grass, and trimming hedges, as well as applying pesticides, and ensuring the yard keeps its aesthetic. A successful lawn care specialist works well in a team and on your own, has great knowledge of plants, all the lawn care tools, and equipment, and has good stamina and strength. Our ideal candidate is someone with previous experience and a high school diploma with a great eye for detail.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform routine lawn maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, edging, and fertilizing. Diagnose and address issues such as pests, diseases, and soil deficiencies to ensure healthy landscapes. Operate and maintain lawn care equipment such as mowers, aerators, trimmers, and blowers. Apply herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers in compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Design and execute lawn care plans tailored to the specific needs of clients and properties. Conduct seasonal tasks such as aerating, seeding, and dethatching to promote lawn health. Monitor irrigation systems and perform basic maintenance or adjustments as needed. Communicate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide recommendations. Maintain accurate records of services performed, materials used, and equipment maintenance. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience in lawn care, landscaping, or a similar role. High school diploma or equivalent; certification in horticulture or landscaping is a plus. Strong knowledge of plant health, soil management, and pest control techniques. Ability to operate and maintain lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and aerators. Familiarity with applying fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides safely and effectively. Physical stamina to perform demanding outdoor tasks in various weather conditions. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for traveling to job sites. Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
