Financial Planner Financial Consultants Group (dba Fountain Wealth Partners) Alpharetta/Cumming, Georgia Full-Time / In-Person / Salaried + Incentive Compensation 401K / Health insurance / Profit Sharing Base Salary $70,000 to $100,000 per year and up - based on experience Financial Consultants Group (dba Fountain Wealth Partners) was established in Georgia in 1996 and is a growing independent fee-only RIA serving successful individuals, families, retirees and business owners throughout North Georgia and beyond. As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking a Financial Planner who already has experience in financial planning and is ready for greater responsibility, deeper client relations and a clear path towards career growth. The ideal candidate may be currently working as an Associate Advisor, Paraplanner, Client Service Associate or similar role within an RIA, brokerage firm or larger wealth management organization. This is not a commission-based sales position . We are looking for an advisor who wants to build expertise, serve clients exceptionally well and grow professionally as part of an independent wealth management firm. Working alongside experienced advisors and CFP® professionals, you will Participate actively in client and prospective-client meetings Assist in managing ongoing client relationships Develop and update comprehensive financial plans Analyze retirement income, Social Security, cash flow and distribution strategies Assist with portfolio analysis, investment recommendations and implementation Prepare and eventually present portions of client financial plans for review meetings Work with estate, legacy and multigenerational planning situations Participate in planning for business owners, executives and high-net worth families Manage client follow-up and ensure planning recommendations are implemented Gradually assume responsibility for client relationships based upon experience and demonstrated ability Our advisors work with increasingly sophisticated client situations involving Retirement and Financial independence Investment management Tax planning and coordination Estate and Legacy planning Business transitions and liquidity events High-net worth families and executive equity compensation Multigenerational wealth At Financial Consultants Group/Fountain Wealth Partners, our objective is to provide an opportunity to grow as a professional. The ideal candidate will have approximately 2-5+ years of experience in financial planning. We are specifically interested in someone who has The Certified Financial Planner® designation or working towards it A Bachelor's degree in Financial Planning, Finance or other related discipline Working knowledge of comprehensive financial planning Experience working directly with financial advisors and clients Familiarity with investment management and portfolio concepts Experience with financial planning software, RightCapital is a plus Experience with CRM software, RedTail is a plus Experience with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exceptional attention to detail and follow through A proactive rather than reactive approach to client service The desire to assume increasing responsibility Understanding and respect for confidentiality and security of client information. Having the highest of ethics is expected with regard to the fiduciary integrity expected for our clients.
