Overview Managed Care Advisors are client-facing representatives of Gallagher Bassett, serving as subject matter experts on our GBCARE integrated service offering and managing large GBCARE accounts. They serve as an adjunct member of the Account Management team, serving as a liaison between Managed Care Operations and the Client. How you'll make an impact Promote value of GBCARE integrated model to existing clients and prospective clients to grow our business. Understand and promote all product offerings within the GBCARE integrated model. Answer questions and educate Client Services team on GBCARE products and services. Client facing responsibilities for targeted existing accounts. MC Advisor is a service level contact and will identify opportunity for services not currently utilized by the client. Data will be reviewed and interpreted and solutions proposed to through annual Stewardship. Collaborate with sales team on prospective clients including answers to managed care questions and participation in sales presentations. Provide support as needed to account management team with program evaluations, RFP presentations, stewardship or partnership meeting attendance. Promote visibility of GBCARE at industry conferences and with broker and carrier community. Serve as a SME by staying current on WC medical management education including direction of care, emerging tools, technology, and legislative changes. Collaborate with Managed Care Operations and Advisor Team to learn and identify opportunities for improvement.
About You Required:
Bachelors' degree; 5 years' of direct insurance industry experience. General knowledge of workers compensation managed care industry. Strong Excel/Database analytics. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong organizational skills-must be able to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to travel up to 20%.
Preferred:
Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint, with ability to analyze data, create custom presentations and make recommendations. Strong communication skills. Exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. Ability to negotiate complex issues while maintaining respect and rapport with clients, carriers and brokers. Confidence in presenting material in large group settings. Strong desire to learn and develop new expertise and skills.
