$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Job description: Financial Advisor- Hendricks County Bank and Trust (HCBT)/ Midwestern Securities Trading Company, LLC. Hendricks County Bank and Trust, in partnership with Midwestern Securities Trading Company, LLC, is seeking a personable, motivated, and client-focused Financial Advisor to join their growing wealth management team. About the Role The Financial Advisor will focus on building long-term relationships with clients by providing tailored, intelligent investment solutions based on each individual's unique financial goals. This is not a high-pressure sales environment—Hendricks County Bank and Trust prioritizes integrity, trust, and doing what's right for the client above all else. You'll join a professional, collaborative team culture that values personal growth, teamwork, and genuine service. In addition to managing an existing book of business, you'll actively cultivate new relationships by leveraging the bank's client base, your personal and professional networks, and proactive outreach in the community. You'll also receive mentorship and hands-on support from experienced advisors and the Midwestern Securities home office team.Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow an existing client book with a focus on long-term, fee-based financial planning Build and nurture new client relationships through networking, referrals, and community engagement Develop and execute a personalized business plan in alignment with team goals and client needs Deliver tailored investment solutions using a mix of fee-based and commissionable services Conduct client meetings, portfolio reviews, and financial plan updates with professionalism and clarity Use modern tools such as Salesforce, eSignature, and DocuSign to streamline client interactions and back-office tasks Maintain compliance with FINRA, SEC, and internal regulatory standardsDesired Skills & Experience:
Proven relationship-building and communication skills Coachable, organized, and highly motivated self-starter Strong ethical standards and team-oriented mindset Resilience, adaptability, and a growth-oriented attitude Comfortable with technology platforms that enhance the client experience Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferred) FINRA Series 7 & 66 licenses (preferred or willingness to obtain) Life, Health, Disability, and Long-Term Care Insurance licenses (preferred or willingness to obtain) CFP®, ChFC®, or other designations are a plus At least 1 year of financial services or 5+ years of successful sales experience (preferred)Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, in-person position with a competitive salary plus commission compensation structure. Advisors can expect total compensation in the $65,000-$75,000 range, with significant upside potential for strong performers.
