Initially this is a support role with a fast-track opportunity to grow into a Senior Financial Advisor position within 5 years. Individual will work with the Senior Financial Advisor to provide investment and financial planning advice, to meet the needs of existing and new clients. Candidate should expect to work with financial planning software, build tailored portfolios, maintain contact and service clients, and handle associated paperwork and other administrative tasks. The candidate should be highly professional, motivated to learn and advance, be detail oriented and able to work independently, as well as part of the team. The ideal candidate will be committed to high quality customer service and be self- motivated. Corporate office is located in Needham, MA and same-day travel throughout New England (primarily Massachusetts and Rhode Island) will be required. Administrative Prepare new account paperwork and open accounts. Process completed paperwork and ensure all applications, documents, forms are accurate and complete. Prepare meeting agendas, reports, and materials for client review meetings. Data entry into Financial Planning software Handle incoming client calls and requests for money movements, etc. Manage, research, and resolve client service requests. Handle sensitive and confidential information with maximum discretion. Client Interaction Meet with clients alongside Senior Advisor to provide advice during meetings. Apply company investment strategies and fiduciary management standards to meet the needs of prospect and client accounts. Hold client meetings including taking on prospective clients and handling client reviews. Maintain contact with clients and help them to understand their investments. Provide ongoing education to clients on investments and various financial planning topics.
