Role Description The Relationship Development Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Reston, VA. This position focuses on building and nurturing relationships with prospective and existing clients through outreach, follow-up, and high-quality communication. Day-to-day responsibilities include scheduling and confirming appointments, supporting advisors with client onboarding and data gathering, and assisting in the preparation of presentations or materials for client meetings. The associate will maintain accurate records in CRM tools, conduct basic research on prospective clients or markets, and coordinate events or initiatives that enhance client engagement and referral activity. Collaboration with advisors and internal teams is essential to ensure a consistent, professional client experience and support the firm's growth objectives. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build trust and interact effectively with clients and colleagues. Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Research capabilities to support advisors with client data, market information, and preparation for meetings. Candidates should possess experience or interest in Fundraising or relationship-based business development to help expand client and referral networks. Candidates should possess professional written and verbal communication skills, including comfort with phone, email, and in-person interactions. Bachelor's degree in business, communications, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred. Ability to work on-site in Reston, VA, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with common office software and CRM tools; prior experience in financial services or professional services is a plus.
