Southfield, MI Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Federal Housing Administration (FHA) loans FNMA Full Job Description Member Solutions Counselor Southfield, MI (Hybrid - 1 day/week on-site) Do you enjoy helping people who have fallen on hard times? In the Member Solutions Counselor role, You'll be responsible for: Keeping open lines of communication with delinquent members for early intervention counseling. Working closely with investor credit unions and maintaining positive working relationships with their collection staff. Using your problem-solving abilities to tackle any issues head-on, keeping all parties informed as necessary as you work toward resolutions. Making daily outbound calls to review members' financial status and develop workable repayment arrangements. You'll have the opportunity to: Be creative in your approach to developing appropriate resolutions that meet the requirements of all parties involved. Learn other areas of the mortgage default space to expand your knowledge and drive your career path forward. Confidently make quick decisions. Use sympathy to deescalate situations swiftly. Display your grit and perseverance during challenging situations. You'll have: A minimum of 1 year of collections or customer service experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills, aiding your ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly regulated, and deadline-driven environment.
