Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Financial Counseling Supervisor to join our Revenue Cycle Team in Bolivar, Missouri — Successful candidates will have a dynamic background and interest in ensuring patients receive accurate financial guidance, assistance with coverage, eligibility screenings, financial assistance applications and support through the healthcare experience. Should be skilled in supervising, mentoring and developing staff to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

Monday - Friday, 8:30a.m - 4:30p.m
What Your Day Looks Like:
Our Financial Counseling team helps patients understand how their insurance works, their patient portion and other options available to help relieve the financial stress of the payment of their responsibility. As a Financial Counseling Supervisor you will be: Overseeing the daily operations and performance of the Financial Counseling team to ensure patients receive accurate financial guidance and assistance throughout the revenue cycle. Supervising staff, monitoring productivity and quality standards Providing training, coaching/mentoring and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and payer requirements Working collaboratively with Patient Access, Case Management, Revenue Cycle, and clinical departments to support insurance verification, authorization processes, financial assistance programs, payment arrangements, and patient education regarding financial responsibilities
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor Degree preferred
Experience:
Prior Healthcare care, financial services or Insurance experience required. Preferred experience of 3 years or more in Healthcare Patient Accounts, related revenue cycle functions, insurance verification, or healthcare financial services
Skills:
Time management, Communication, Calculation skills
Licensure/Certification:
