Who They Are Looking For The client is currently seeking a Senior Associate to support its Financial Advisory Services group. This team provides value-added business advisory services to a diverse and growing client base of entrepreneurial organizations. This role offers a unique combination of client service and leadership opportunities at one of the nation's leading CPA firms. Location Candidates must be commutable to the East Brunswick, NJ office location four days per week. What You Will Work On
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with owners and managers of entrepreneurial organizations.
- Leading engagements across a variety of service offerings, including:
- Financial planning and analysis.
- Financial forecasting, KPI development, budgeting, variance reporting, dashboarding, and decision support.
- Outsourced accounting close and reporting.
- Identifying ways to help business owners grow enterprise value.
- Researching and implementing technical accounting issues.
- Guiding engagement teams through mentorship and leadership.
- Financial modeling, including segment profitability and cash flow forecasting.
- Accounting support, including cash-to-accrual, audit readiness, and monthly close design and review.
- Control assessments and process improvement within accounting and finance functions.
- Ownership change considerations.
- Mentoring and developing associates by supporting professional growth, training, internal processes, and incorporation of client feedback into development materials. What You Bring

- Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3+ years of accounting or accounting and finance experience.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Client services experience.
- Ability and willingness to work in an office four days per week in accordance with company policy. Preferred Qualifications
- CPA certification.
- Experience with FP&A activities, including financial modeling and/or dashboarding. Why You'll Love Working There

Pay:
$90,000.00- $150,000.
