Northwestern Mutual Training Program Overview The Training & Development Program includes a 3-week training course at the start of the position, where you will be introduced to our portfolio of financial products and services and learn effective strategies and practices for early success. Then, once working in the role, you will be able to work alongside an experienced Director in the office who will serve as your mentor on an ongoing basis, allowing you to do your client work jointly with an experienced leader in the office. As a financial advisor, you will: Grow your client base by making new connections, maintaining a strong referral network, and providing a great client experience. Build personalized, holistic financial plans tailored to every client's unique needs. Manage your client's financial plans to help them achieve their goals. Grow relationships with clients to support them through every stage of life.
Qualifications:
3-5 years' experience in sales and relationship-focused client engagements We are seeking candidates with a hunter mentality and with an entrepreneurial mindset. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to simplify financial planning, insurance and retirement planning to explain them in terms clients can easily understand. Able to apply creative solutions to a variety of issues in a fast-paced environment. There is occasional travel in some territories (up to 25% travel), which includes networking events, and meeting potential clients in your area(s). Proactively prospect for new clients by leveraging market research, sales tools, etc. Detail-oriented, self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.

Pay:
$75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
