Job Description

Overview:
Support clients in achieving their financial goals through personalized investment and insurance solutions. Under the guidance of experienced Financial Advisors, build relationships, identify opportunities, and deliver needs-based recommendations that help clients make informed financial decisions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct client needs assessments and recommend tailored investment and insurance solutions. Support business growth by deepening client relationships and identifying new opportunities. Meet established sales and relationship management goals while maintaining compliance with policies and regulations. Grow assets under management through client engagement and partnership referrals. Deliver an exceptional client experience through ongoing relationship reviews and proactive service. Maintain accurate client records and documentation in accordance with regulatory and firm requirements. Ensure compliance with BSA, AML, KYC, and internal risk management standards. Build strong partnerships across Retail Banking, Business Banking, and Wealth to generate referrals and serve clients holistically. Participate in joint client meetings and collaborate with internal partners to identify and address client needs. Foster an inclusive environment that reflects M&T's values and commitment to community. Complete other related duties as assigned. Scope and Responsibilities Wilmington Advisors @ M&T is a brand name used by LPL representatives to offer securities, advisory, and insurance services and is not a separate legal entity. Deliver investment and insurance solutions to affluent and high-net-worth clients. Drive growth through relationship building, needs-based advice, and business development activities. Maintain knowledge of industry trends, products, regulations, and operational processes. Partner closely with Wealth, Commercial Banking, Retail Banking, and centers of influence to support client success.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1 year of sales, financial services, retail banking, or related experience; or a combined minimum of 5 years of higher education and/or relevant work experience. FINRA Series 6 or Series 7 and Series 63 licenses required. Active Life and Health/Variable Insurance (LAH) licenses required.
Education and Experience Preferred:
FINRA Series 7 license FINRA Series 65 or 66 licenses as appropriate M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $43.34 Hourly (USD). The successful candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation. Location Utica, New York, United States of America
