Position:
The Fortis College campus in Westerville (Columbus area), OH is seeking, an energetic and highly motivated Financial Aid Advisor to join the Financial Aid Department. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assists students through the application process for all forms of student financial assistance (Federal, State, Agency, Veterans, Employer, etc.). Conducts entrance and exit counseling for student borrowers. Performs data entry and file maintenance on the Campus Vue, FAME, and NSLDS data management systems. Performs need analysis and financial aid packaging in Campus Vue and FAME. Verifies and corrects financial aid application data. Prepares Professional Judgment applications for review by the Financial Aid Director Maintains student files, assembles new student information and application packages and performs other clerical assignments. Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Financial Aid and/or Campus President. Regular and reliable attendance. Requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of indiviuals Highly organized, motivated and results driven Must not have any National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) restrictions. 1 to 2 years of experience is preferred but we will train the right candidate. Knowledge of the Federal and State financial aid regulations with specific knowledge of Title IV Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Bachelor degree is preferred but not required

Five day workweek with two late evenings to approximately 8:00pm and rotating
