About the Role We're an independent financial advisory firm with a small, collaborative team — two advisors and two support staff — focused on doing what's best for our clients. We help individuals and families create comprehensive financial plans covering investments, retirement, tax strategy, insurance, and estate planning. We're looking for an Associate Financial Advisor who wants to learn, grow, and eventually become a lead advisor . You'll start by supporting advisors behind the scenes and in meetings — building plans, preparing reports, and helping deliver an exceptional client experience. The Opportunity We're seeking an Associate Financial Advisor who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow into a lead advisor role. You'll begin by supporting advisors both behind the scenes and in client meetings, gaining hands-on experience in financial planning, investment management, and client relationship building. This position is ideal for a CFP® candidate or an early-career professional ready to develop into a trusted advisor through mentorship, collaboration, and client-facing experience. What You'll Do Join client meetings to take notes, prepare summaries, and follow up on action steps Build and update financial plans using MoneyGuide, Asset-Map, and Holistiplan Research and analyze client data to support investment and tax planning decisions Prepare client review materials, reports, and recommendations Manage workflows and data in Redtail CRM and assist with Schwab billing and iRebal Using the Schwab platform to execute trades, process distributions, and support client service requests Assist with investment research and portfolio risk analysis using Nitrogen (Riskalyze) Help track RMDs and identify planning opportunities Collaborate with the team to enhance client service and process efficiency What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Financial Planning, Finance, or related field preferred 0-5 years of experience in financial planning or client service within wealth management If experienced: 1-5 years preferred If no experience: must be a CFP® candidate or recent graduate from an accredited CFP® program Licensing preferred: SIE, Series 7, and 66 (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft 365, Redtail, Holistiplan, and MoneyGuide Passionate about helping clients achieve long-term financial success Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $60,000 - $80,000 , based on experience Bonus potential tied to firm and personal performance Benefits include: Health insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid time off and holidays CFP® program and licensing support Hybrid office schedule (mix of in-office collaboration and remote work) Our Culture We're a client-focused, growth-minded team that believes in collaboration and integrity.
