Overview:

The Planning Lead is responsible for preparing Advisors for client meetings by analyzing client financial data, creating financial plans using planning software, and ensuring accurate, timely follow up on client action items. This role serves as a key link between Advisors, operations, and client experience teams to support a seamless client experience and efficient internal workflow. Acting as a trusted point of contact, the Planning Lead addresses client questions, facilitates money movement, oversees asset placement, and ensures planning and investment strategies are implemented effectively. This individual contributes directly to a consistent, high-quality client experience by preparing cases, managing outstanding items, and maintaining clear communication across the team. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Advisors for client meetings by gathering, reviewing, and analyzing client financial data
• Input, update, and maintain accurate client information within financial planning and CRM systems
• Develop and organize meeting preparation materials, reports, analysis, and planning recommendations for advisor review
• Manage outstanding tasks and proactively prioritize to meet deadlines and client needs
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing ongoing communication, service, and relationship development
• Respond promptly to client inquiries with accurate information and clear guidance
• Coordinate and execute money movement requests, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
• Manage asset placement, transfers, and account setup aligned with client goals
• Support implementation and ongoing monitoring of financial planning and investment strategies
• Collaborate closely with Advisors and operations staff to ensure a seamless client experience
• Maintain detailed client records and documentation in accordance with compliance requirements
• Follow firm processes and effectively utilize internal systems and tools
• Stay current on financial planning best practices, market trends, and industry regulations
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail in all interactions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3-5 years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or a related client service role
• Strong knowledge of investment products, asset allocation, and financial planning principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
• Highly collaborative with the ability to work independently
• Proficiency in financial planning software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Series 7, 66, CFP®, or other relevant industry credentials preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
