Position Overview This position's primary focus is helping clients navigate Medicare with confidence. Unlike many Medicare sales roles, you'll work primarily with pre-qualified prospects and referrals from our existing client base. There is no expectation of cold calling or building a book of business from scratch. You'll educate clients on their Medicare options, guide them through the enrollment process, and provide ongoing service throughout retirement. Beyond Medicare, this role offers significant long-term growth opportunities. As your knowledge and experience develop, you'll have the opportunity to expand into additional areas of the business, including financial planning, wealth management, employee benefits, retirement planning, and other insurance solutions. We're looking for someone who is personable, organized, eager to learn, and excited to become an integral member of a small, collaborative team. Responsibilities Meet with prospective and existing clients to discuss Medicare coverage options. Educate clients on Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage, and Part D prescription drug plans. Assist clients with enrollments, policy changes, and annual reviews. Build long-term relationships by providing outstanding service and ongoing support. Maintain accurate client records using our CRM system. Stay current on Medicare regulations, carrier updates, and industry developments. Collaborate with our financial planning and employee benefits teams to provide a seamless client experience. Participate in educational seminars, client events, and community outreach as needed. Qualifications We're more interested in finding the right person than checking every box.
Ideal candidates will possess:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. A genuine desire to help people and build long-term relationships. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Professionalism, integrity, and a team-first attitude. Comfort learning new technology and CRM systems. Customer service, sales, healthcare, insurance, or financial services experience is a plus. Insurance or Medicare experience is preferred but not required. We are happy to train the right candidate and assist with obtaining the necessary insurance licenses.
