Our vision is to focus on the financial wellness of families and individuals by providing them with certified professionals for confidential counseling, educational services, and other solutions enabling our clients to meet their financial goals.
Financial Counselor Responsibilities:
Interview our clients with debt issues via telephone, video, or in person to offer advice on improving their financial situation Provide financial counseling to clients seeking assistance with our diverse product offerings Determine available monthly income after living expenses to meet credit obligations and offer possible alternatives for repaying debt Evaluate client's financial situation to determine if our agency's Debt Management Program is a viable means of repayment Offer budget counseling to clients to assist them in managing and/or reducing their monthly expenses Evaluate foreclosure prevention options for clients seeking assistance with housing related matters Other tasks, as assigned by management Requirements Bi-lingual in English and Spanish a must A patient and empathetic attitude Exceptional interpersonal and rapport building skills Great active listening skills Excellent writing skills and the ability to communicate concisely Problem solving skills and attention for detail Ability to multi-task Retention focused skill set Computer literacy Must be able to pass the counseling certification exam administered through the agency.

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
