Job Description
Position Summary Stern Cardiovascular is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Finance Representative to support the daily financial operations of our Business Office. In this role, you will help ensure deposits, electronic payments, remittances, and accounting records are processed accurately and on time while protecting confidential patient and company information. Key Responsibilities Prepare daily deposits and accurately record deposit activity from multiple locations and payment channels. Maintain the bank spreadsheet, including EFTs, lockbox payments, portal payments, virtual cards, and other revenue. Process electronic remittances in the practice management system and reconcile them to corresponding EFT payments. Prepare and distribute remittances and EOBs to payment-posting staff, and post assigned payments as needed. Review lockbox returns and determines appropriate deposit handling. Reconcile the bank spreadsheet to the bank statement each week and provide balanced month-end records to the CFO. Process and distribute incoming correspondence and register new patients in the practice management system. Maintain confidentiality and support other Business Office responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. At least one year of medical office experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Comfort using computers, office equipment, spreadsheets, and practice management systems. Ability to manage confidential information responsibly and adapt productively to change.
