Monday-Thursday In Office | Friday Remote CFP® Highly Preferred The Opportunity We're partnering with a growing wealth management organization that is hiring a Senior Financial Planner - Advanced Planning to support advisors and high-net-worth clients with complex financial planning needs. This is a high-visibility role for an experienced planner who enjoys solving sophisticated planning challenges, presenting directly to advisors and clients, and helping strengthen how advanced planning is delivered across the organization. You'll work across tax, estate, retirement, investments, insurance, and risk planning while also helping improve planning processes, technology, and advisor support. What You'll Be Doing Develop and present advanced financial plans for advisors and clients Support complex planning across tax, estate, retirement, investment, insurance, and risk Work directly with high-net-worth clients , ideally including households with $10M+ net worth Partner with financial advisors on complex client planning strategies Use planning platforms such as eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, RightCapital, Holistiplan , or similar Build advanced Excel models for planning scenarios and projections Improve planning processes, deliverables, and advisor support Evaluate planning technology, automation, and AI opportunities Lead planning projects from concept through implementation Help strengthen advisor adoption and confidence in the planning function Provide leadership and guidance to a junior team member as the group grows What We're Looking For 7+ years of financial planning experience CFP® highly preferred Strong technical financial planning background Experience working with HNW clients Strong knowledge of tax, estate, retirement, investment, and insurance planning Experience presenting directly to financial advisors and clients Strong financial planning software experience Advanced Excel modeling skills Ability to explain complex planning strategies clearly Strong project ownership and problem-solving skills Comfortable improving processes and working through ambiguity Interest in planning technology, automation, and AI Why This Role Stands Out Up to $160,000+ base salary 20% annual bonus Higher compensation may be considered for an exceptional candidate High visibility across the organization Direct exposure to advisors and HNW clients Opportunity to shape and improve the advanced planning function Mix of hands-on planning, strategy, technology, and leadership Opportunity to influence planning processes and tools Growing organization with room for continued career progression
