Job Duties:
Associate, Sales with Goldman Sachs Wealth Services, L.P. in Irving, Texas. Work alongside an advisor team to help service clients and their families, providing comprehensive personal financial planning and investment analysis, investment planning and tax services to corporate employees, executives, and other high-net worth individuals. Prepare income tax returns for clients. Prepare various reports and analyses for clients in the areas of personal financial statements, cash flow planning, income tax projections, insurance reviews, investment allocation, investment performance, estate document reviews, estate flowcharts, etc. Conduct individual research on clients financial planning questions using internal resources and the questions can vary from a specific tax treatment to a specific investment product. Extensive telephone contact and/or face-to-face interaction with clients, and their outside advisors, to obtain information and help the advisor team provide advice. Establish trust and rapport with clients over the phone and in person by asking open-ended questions and using inclusive language; ultimately forming long-term relationships with our clients. Assist the team in documenting the client file to ensure all communication and client service is well documented.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in job offered or a related role. Prior employment must include two (2) years of experience with: working with clients to determine their current income, expenses, insurance coverage, tax status, financial objectives, risk tolerance, and other relevant information needed to develop financial plans; tax projections and reviewing accurate withholding and payments; financial products including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, Equity Awards, and insurance; Estate Planning, Taxes, Investments, Insurance, Cash Flow Management, and Risk Management; and preparing individual income tax returns according to US tax code, legislation, and tax planning with GoSystem Tax RS software.
