The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who enjoys building relationships and who is committed to providing an excellent client experience. This candidate will also have a positive attitude, be team oriented, and understand the importance of 100% accountability. The Central Advisor is part of a centralized team that directly manages a defined portfolio of clients. Interactions will largely be remote through telephone and electronic communications for sales and servicing. Travel between 7 office locations along the Wasatch Front will also be required for some in-person meetings. This position conducts annual reviews, proactively follows through with sales opportunities while providing superior client service. Licenses for both Series 65 and Life & Health are mandatory to complete the duties of the role. Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Conduct regular client annual reviews
  • Execute client service and transaction requests with efficiency and exactness
  • Achieve set production levels through identifying and onboarding off-held assets with clients
  • Continually improve the clients' retirement plans utilizing The B.O.S.S. Retirement Blueprint
  • Ensuring all aspects of client retirement plans are executed
  • Growing the portfolio of clients through asking for and meeting with referrals Critical Competencies
  • Federal taxes relating to Roth Conversions
  • Social Security
  • Annuities
  • Securities and portfolio management
  • Excellent customer service
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Have an understanding of Mac IOS
  • Experience with CRM preferred, not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2 + years of financial services experience with an emphasis in customer service
  • Utah Life and Health Licensed required
  • Series 65 required (or equivalent)
  • This position starts at a base salary of $70,000/year with commissions.
