JOB DESCRIPTION
These jobs focus on managing the financial aspects of patient care, including billing, insurance claims, payment processing, financial counseling, utilization and revenue cycle analysis. These roles are responsible for overseeing the entire process of billing, collecting, and reconciling patient accounts. Revenue cycle staff manage claims submission, payment processing, and account resolution to ensure that the university healthcare system captures and maximizes revenue while maintaining compliance with regulations. Individual contributors who provide support to an organization, often in direct service, operational, technical or administrative functions. Spends majority of time in the delivery of support services or activities, typically under supervision. Opportunities for progression outside this career stream are typically limited without additional education or significant training and experience. Recognized specialist in the Job Area. Responsible for leading daily operations. Trains, delegates and reviews the work of lower level employees. Problems are typically difficult and non-routine but not complex. Influences others outside the Job Area regarding practices and procedures.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High School or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience:
4 years relevant experience in customer service and extensive use of desktop computers and applications.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. Patient facing and seated most of the day. The pay range for this role is $17.66 - $35.32 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
