Client Advisor Baker Ellis Asset Management, LLC Vancouver, WA Job Details Full-time From $80,000 a year 14 days ago Benefits Retirement plan Qualifications Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Bachelor's degree Financial services Full Job Description Baker Ellis Asset Management is searching for qualified candidates to join our team as a Client Advisor at our office in Vancouver, Wash. Candidate will initially serve in a Secondary Advisor role, partnering with the founding partners, with an opportunity to succeed to Primary Advisor and participate in a long-term succession. Successful candidates for this position will have a demonstrated track record of educational and professional achievement, as well as a talent for portfolio management and client communications. Job Responsibilities Partner with existing Senior Client Advisors to establish deep relationships with existing clients towards ultimately assuming primary Advisor responsibilities for a subset of clients Deliver a full suite of wealth management services spanning investment analysis and portfolio allocation, financial planning, tax planning, charitable and estate planning, and ancillary services Implement and manage investment decisions to ensure client goals and objectives are achieved Coordinate with clients' outside advisors, including CPA and attorneys, to facilitate a client's holistic wealth plan Prepare for and conduct client meetings to review and present periodic investment results, discuss strategy, and adjust update objectives as required Experience Bachelor's Degree or higher CFP or CFA designation preferred (or the willingness to obtain one of these certifications) Minimum 5 years in a financial advisory services role with demonstrated ability to retain and manage client relationships Competencies Ability to successfully cultivate long-term client relationships Financial planning/wealth management acumen, judgement, and experience Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Proficiency in financial planning software, including eMoney Excellent communication, listening, and relationship-building skills Proactive, self-motivated approach Compensation Compensation commensurate with talent and experience Exceptional work environment Generous retirement benefits
