Full Job Description Title:

Financial Advisor Support Associate Become a key team member in a family-owned company working directly with one or more dedicated Financial Advisors to assist with the administrative needs of clients. Prior financial industry experience strongly preferred. Discretionary annual bonus up to $10,000 + annual profit sharing contribution. Annual salary based on industry experience and qualifications.

Duties & Responsibilities:

First point of contact interacting directly with clients - research and resolve questions, manage Advisor schedules, answering phones and/or taking messages as needed. Take ownership of the new client onboarding process - tracking all open items with strong attention to detail and priority. Manage CRM application to perform various functions such as inputting and updating contact entries and utilizing the dashboard to track tasks, run client reports, etc. Create and submit client paperwork, update account statements, facilitate money movements on behalf of clients. Greet clients, ensure client comfort, and interact positively with clients on a daily basis. Create and run reports in specialized financial software applications. Create and update Excel reports. Assist with special projects as required, such as organizing client or employee events.

Experience & Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor degree (Preferred) Financial licenses (SIE, Series 6, Series 7) a strong plus Previous administrative assistant experience, experience in the financial planning and/or securities industry (Preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; experience with CRM applications, portfolio management and document management software is a plus Continuously exhibits personal integrity and professional initiative Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment Flexible team player who is highly adaptable and ready to work hard in a fun, relaxed office setting
