The location of this position is flexible with a focus in Southern Wisconsin, depending on candidate preferences and business need. Proactively serve the needs of existing Lake Ridge Financial clients by nurturing and strengthening relationships. Deepen Financial Advisory relationships in assigned markets. Actively seek and respond to referrals from other bank employees. Regularly attend internal and external meetings to promote business development. Pursue ongoing education to maintain licenses and professional designations. Participate in peer group meetings with LPL-Institutional Services. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or a minimum of 5 years' experience in sales or in assisting clients with financial needs. Series 7, 6, or 63 licenses. Life and Health licenses. Strong working knowledge of fiduciary responsibilities, investments, and financial/retirement planning. Understanding of the liabilities associated with the bank acting as a fiduciary for individuals and entities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) to interact with a diverse client base. Strong organizational and time management skills. Current knowledge of wealth management market and industry issues/regulations. Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment. Ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain composed in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, strong typing/keyboarding skills, and the ability/willingness to learn new programs and software. Solid accounting/math skills with accuracy in financial calculations. Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension). Professional demeanor and ability to represent the organization positively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline. Advanced professional designations or licenses (e.g., CFP®). 10 years of prior experience in a financial advisory or wealth management role. Previous financial sales experience. Prior experience working in a financial institution and/or with financial products/services. Experience with Redtail or other CRM platforms. This is a full time role between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Please note this role is an onsite role based out of one of Lake Ridge Bank's offices.
